LAST FRIDAY OF 2013

so, 2013 almost end and awal muharram is coming very soon. Well! Hello! When was my last entry? 2 years or 3 years back ea? My life is good so far. I guess. Obviously I had grown up so much. Literally and technically of course. Much had changed and alhamdulilah hopefully for a better future.

As a human who had beeen living for 21 years, I still found myself lost in every journey. From one awal muharram to another, as servant of Allah I haven't done much. But, lets not forget to keep on improving ourselves. Keep on moving forward. Look back once awhile to see how much progress we had made. Even if it is the smallest thing ever, if it is a proggress in making you a better servant to your Creator, thank Him for the courage you get.

To find serenity in life is just a step away. But be sure that we are heading to the right direction. Whenever we are face with confusion, ask from Him the All Mighty the best direction. His mercy will be showered upon us if we never stop thinking of Him. Even when we have nothing to ask for, just ask. Talk to Him. Remember, when there is no shoulder to lean on, we always have our head to bow upon Him.

Salam awal muharram to all Muslims around the world and Happy deepavali. Ibrahim maju should consider giving free nasi, kari campur, papadom (all in full plate) for free!

SEEKING FOR CHANGES RATHER THAN RESOLUTIONS

my first entry for 2012

still trying to digest the 12 at the back.

the truth is its harder to digest my own age.

maybe for the 40's being 20's is not a bad thing at all.

but for us who are 19 yesterday and suddenly

turn into 20 today (unofficial) it is a major turning point.

now, i realize that more and more responsibilities 

are pilling up like the old newspapers exactly 

in front of my doorstep and how come

cina surat kaba lama suda lama tidak mari?

i tell you what,

consider the newspapers as your resolutions.

every year it kept on pilling up and up and up.

and you were nagging all the year long 

blaming the cina surat kaba for not showing up.

basically what you were saying is that,
the reason why all of these newspapers all pilling up
is because of the cina surat kaba.

here, you are hoping that someone will do something in order

to make your resolutions alive.

the truth is, in the real world, no one cares. 

you want happiness you work for it,

you want money, work for it,

you want lots of children and happy family, work for it.

every single thing in this world that we need,

we shall work for it.

so, back to the newspapers.

why don't all of us stop complaining and blaming 

that apek for not showing up.

why don't we take an effort to make sure that the

newspapers are gone before 2013 hits.

pick up the newspapers,

throw it into the the big dustbin in front of your house,

and done! no more ugly newspapers at the doorstep.

as easy as that.

most of us are too excited about finding the resolutions

every new year, but less people care about the changes.

its okay if you don't have a pocket full of resolutions,

what matter is seeking for changes. let it be from the smallest

thing ever which eventually leads to a bigger one.

be that changes rather that being the same old resolutions.

till then,

be that changes,

can that sentence be accepted?

is it a fragment?
well, after all the world is changing.

while sitting at the back 

of a SUV,

i am more of an observer.

at the front sit, of course my mumy and my ayah.

they talk things that i failed not to hear 

for the past 20 years.

after all humans are indeed humans.

we must admit that money somehow

try to take the place of the Creator.

people are becoming slave when it comes to money.

its ok to work 24/7,

as long as the pocket full of rice.

and after all that is the purpose of a living human,

as far as i'm concern.

pass by the glittering Bukit Bintang Street,

my eyes can't stop looking through the window.

not because of the amazing lights,

but because of the finest creation of God that walked around.

then i wondered,

what if we know that we are going to die 

in a short time coming?

what if we know that tomorrow is our last day on earth?

what if today is my last day writing this blog?

are our life going to change,

living in this fast lane,

or

be the best of human can be.

as long as we don't learn to die,

we don't learn to live.

making money as a purpose of living.

deteriorate human's rights bit by bit was never enough.

i bet if we all know when is the time 

for us to say so long and farewell,

this world would be a better place.

have you ever wonder?

while watching a typical malay drama

late this morning,

i was triggered with few sentence that

came out from this particular women.

then, before that,

late that night,

i will usually read something before sleeping.

this time i choose 

TUESDAY WITH MORRIE.

such an inspiring book.

motivate you in every line you read.

living in a community with culture 

is such a great thing.

plus living in Malaysia is one of the best thing 

in my life.

but now and then,

this community and this culture

somehow bring us down bit by bit without us 

realizing it.

first,

keep we are so afraid to do or say

something because,

she will say this and he will say that,

that is what the woman in that malay drama quote.

true that.

living in this community

that is what we had been taught.

morrie said:

the culture we have does not make people feel

good about themselves.

morrie was right.

i wonder,

why is it we care so much of what people said 

if things that we do are no wrong at all.

as long as we keep on nodding on what people said,

we will never move anywhere.

not even an inch.

now,

dare to make a move?

then change the culture.

we have to be strong enough to say that the

culture doesn't work if it really does not.

don't buy it.

changing is not that bad.

sometimes it turns out to be better.

stop listening to voices saying this and that.

do what you want to do.

do things that give you satisfaction,

rather than satisfied others.

live your own life.

being all poetic this week,

because i don't have anything else to do.

so,

been reading some of CARPE DIEM.

nice. well constructed.

but i am not going to talk about carpe

 nor performing arts.

suddenly,

i found it to be true that,

we create the world.

(not literally though)

SHAKESPEARE was right somehow,

when he said that,

world is our stage and we are the actor.

look how great the actors and the actresses act.

if i could define a sentence for man,

it would be,

human is the greatest actor/actress

that stuck on their very own horror movie.

does that make any sense?

well let me elaborate.

look at the world now and today.

there is no good place to hang into.

how great the politicians make the earth sounds like 

a better place to life when they are the ones who will destroy it.

how great the businessman works and give charity

by using money that is not even theirs.

how poor people live in despair due to the fact that 

money need to be used for a far more important things.

how little children are not allowed to play outside

because outside is just another sweet hell.

see,

isn't scary?

but blame it to nobody as we are the actors and the actresses.

great thing about learning literature is that,

you are able to be free with your imagination.

quoting from my literature book,

'a protagonist is not a good character all the time nor is bad,

but it can be both'.

so i shall conclude that we, the protagonist,

are constructed well by The All Mighty, 

to make the right choice.

and antagonist is not necessarily a human,

it can be anything.

then, why choose to be one?

if the antagonist is a some kind of barrier,

lets say,

you are walking then suddenly,

there is a puddle in front of you.

(consider the puddle as the antagonist)

you either have 2 options.

1. you can hop across the puddle.

or

2. play with the puddle and get dirty with it.

which one is your choice?

if you choose no.1,

in that case you are an actor/actress to be applaud  of

since you are able to fight the barrier (antagonist).

but if you choose no.2,

then you are about to be an antagonist.

choose wisely,

human always given the chance for making

the right decision.
